the top seed from Alexandria saddened the local crowd by defeating Malaysian Ong Beng Hee, the fifth seed who won the CIMB Crown in 2000, 2005 and 2008, by 7-11, 11-8, 11-9, 12-10 after an 81-minute long marathon.
