An Expression of interest Message from Deaf Sports Australia, for Australian Nationals.
World Deaf Cycling Championships - 2010 to be held at Mont Tremblant, in Canada from 10 to 17 June
Are you or do you know of anyone (Deaf Athletic) Who is interested to participate at the 2011 World Deaf Cycling Championships to be held at Mont Tremblant, in Canada from 10 to 17 June 2011?
The following disciplines taking place at this event for both men and women are:
Cycling: – 1000m Road Sprint.
Individual Time Trial: -
Individual Road Race: -
50km Points Race Mountain Bike: -
Short Track: -
Cross Country: -
Marathon: -
Individual Time Trial: -
Either one of these events will be held All participants are required to have a hearing loss of (according to ICSD’s Rules and regulations) at least 55db or more in their better ear to qualify for this event.
Should you be interested to participate in the event in any of these disciplines, please email Irena Farinacci at Deaf Sports Australia on irena.farinacci@deafsports.org.au outlining which event you would like to partake as well as provide details of your cycling / mountain biking experiences and times.
We require your expression of interest to participate by 28th September 2010. Deaf Sports Australia will support you and will give your facilities or training to you to bring a world championship’s medal to honor our country.
If someone who could be deaf anywhere in your area and he/she has extra ordinary qualities in sports and athletics field, please do forward us his/her detail so we will get in touch with him/her and will develop his/her skills for further coming world deaf championships.
